This
book concerns artificial reality / user-experiential games. The game
topics are deadly serious. The participants reflect a very diverse
population. Many are supposed enemies. All are bound by code of
absolute secrecy and dedication to The Grand Wizards (who are the
controllers and collators). Winning is what can happen in the real
world, given the scenario of the game. Many wins have subsequently
fuelled conspiracy theories.

There was a lull. I
knew armies were regrouping. In the United States there was to be the
launching of the new super weapons and these would invite the worst
response that could be conceived. The aliens were waiting beyond the
skies. No one had ever seen them. It was beyond the skies that the
super-weapons were to be sent. I saw their launch. Thousands of them,
rising from the oceans. Huge and powerful hopes of salvation. They left
streaks of white light in their wake. Missiles fired from upon land
hurtled high beyond the cities, fields, rivers and mountains. I saw
them exploding and spewing their fragments of flames absolutely
everywhere. I saw these missiles become the most intense white spheres
which falling, vomitted death upon the hoards of fleeing innocent. I
saw the result of ingenuity , the highest buildings and the myriad
machines meant to support life become vapour.
THE AIRCRAFT
CARRIERS ARE IN THE SKY. THE SUBMARINES ARE FLYING AS BIRDS. THIS EERIE
SYMPHONY. EXPLODING. DISINTIGRATION. FIRE. FIRE. FIRE. WHITE-HOT METAL
BOXES OF DEATH. FURTHER TO FLY, AS PIECES OF METALLIC RAIN. THE
