I am Beauty is one of Callassa’s favourite pieces
Here, splendidly read by Philip Hurd-Wood
.
.
“My hair is the blood symbol of the red rose upon the tears of time. My thighs are the curving highway into oblivion and where, the made majestic and the most magnificent begin. My voice is an otherworldly paradise-fountain that kindles and winds the strands, where within resides the poetry of the cosmos.”
Callassa. She Bird Song
.
“Come, leave all of that behind and be with me in the most fantastic,
because yonder is nothing to compare.”
